Leadership Week day 1.
Monday 29th June 2015
Today we had the Head Girl and Head Boy from Tauranga Girls and Tauranga Boys Colleges visit our school - Ana Morris and Te Purihi Moana - they came and talked to our Year 5-8 students about their leadership experiences.
We enjoyed listening about their childhood experiences and their leadership journeys, as well as their inspirations and passions.
Some of the key messages were:
- Take every opportunity
- Get involved in things you love
- Persevere through the ups and downs
- Challenge yourself to be your best
- Present yourself well
- Have good time management
- Have faith in yourself and others
We really enjoyed having morning tea with you guys, talking and asking questions.What a great start to our Leadership Week!
