Student Leaders visit Tauriko School

On Monday 4 July Elijah Taula, the Head Boy from Tauranga Boys College, Molly Alton the Deputy Head Girl and Sarah Coleman the Arts Director from Tauranga Girls College came to our school to speak to students in Years 5-8.
It was a great start to our annual leadership week.
They came and spoke to us about leadership and their journey; how they got to where they are now. Our favourite message was ‘don't let anyone stand in the way to where you want to go and who you want to be.’

What did you think? What was your favourite message?

  1. I thought the messages from Elijah, Molly and Sarah were really simple and very real. I particularly enjoyed the message from Elijah - 'if you are doing the right thing, you are leading'.
